Kinkaku-ji “Golden Pavilion” – Kyoto, Japan

The Golden Pavilion is one of 17 locations comprising the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto listed by UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Kinkakuji (金閣寺) is a Zen temple in Kyoto whose top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf. Shiny, beautiful Gold Leaf – They don’t call it the Golden Pavilion for nothing.

Seafood served raw is sashimi, simmered in a pot, grilled over charcoal, or deep-fried is tempura -Japanese chefs have many ways to prepare fish and shellfish.
