You shouldn’t believe everything you hear. This saying always pops up AFTER you’ve done something stupid. Today was no exception. As I was intermittently going between my hammock, the fruit smoothie bar, and the pool in the desert oasis of Huacachina Peru, I started to talk with the waitress. She laughed at my Argentinian accented Spanish and then divulged a Peruvian secret to me: Coca-Cola is the Peruvian Tanning Lotion.
Day 44, 45, 46 & 47 – Huacachina, Peru – Sandboarding and Relaxing
I have come to realize – Out of all the landscapes I can be in – I love the desert the best! I especially love the desert surrounding Huacachina, Peru – It provides a little oasis in the desert and amazing opportunities for sandboarding and dune buggying.
Whenever I go somewhere new – I do a lot of research, before, during, and sometimes after – about what to do, where to go, all the adventures I could have. There are always very specific things I want to do. Sometimes – they are the top tourist destinations/sights – other times – I’ve done so much research and read so many other blogs – I find out about very different sights and activities I can do!
So – Here are my top 20 things I want to do/see in South America (in no Order)
