When you visit Easter Island, the first thing that comes to mind is the Moai. Moai, Moai everywhere. And correct – they are. I saw them at sunrise, I saw them at sunset. I explored the creation grounds and I wandered among toppled Moai. I felt energy expelling from some of the Moai and sat at a magnetic rock. I had done almost everything I could do with the Moai. So I decided it was time to see Easter ISLAND and not just their token attribute. It was time to go horseback riding.
What an incredible island. The experience of the island comes from more than the Moai. It comes from the people and their passion for their culture and traditions.
If you find yourself on Easter Island, and are asking yourself; Where should I stay where I can have an amazing experience, with incredible owners, and be in a great location? Look no further than the Kaimana Inn.
Their motto is: Our passengers arrive as tourists and leave as our friends.
So in Easter Island – Yes, of course you go to see the Moai – At sunrise, sunset, and all the time in between. But what else is there to do on this BEAUTIFUL island in the centre of the Pacific?
Whenever I go somewhere new – I do a lot of research, before, during, and sometimes after – about what to do, where to go, all the adventures I could have. There are always very specific things I want to do. Sometimes – they are the top tourist destinations/sights – other times – I’ve done so much research and read so many other blogs – I find out about very different sights and activities I can do!
