Budget Extremes: Meet the Noodle Girls

Noodles

I always say I love to budget. But I wouldn’t call myslf cheap. I spend where I want for some luxuries and skimp on other things I see as unnecessary or a rip-off. I always eat fairly well while trying to find a discount and limit activities according to what I can afford. But what about when budgeting goes too far?

Budget: Croatia 2012

Budget - Croatia 2012

Croatia isn’t cheap. But I didn’t make it cheaper for myself. I could of walked more, eaten at corner stores only, or found cheaper local digs. But I was tired. But then you hit me on the head with said lollypop (or maybe a pizza?) because you are SO expensive. Although I think I faired decently at $71/day on average with much travelling – it still made my wallet cry as I enjoyed that gelato and pasta! So how did I spend these $71 per day?

Budget: Morocco in April

Budget: Morocco in April

Going to Morocco cost more than I expected. Partly because I had to make tourist mistakes and get ripped off at the airport needing a taxi to the train station.
