20km outside San Crisobal is the small town of Chamula. There are many small towns similar in size, but Chamula is special. It is an indigenous pueblo inhabited by the Tzotil Maya’s who maintain their cultures traditions. Those traditions are what attract that foreigners and why I came to the city.
