Let me Introduce you to the Men of Parque del Buen Retiro, Madrid!

When the weather gets sunny in Madrid, the folk head to Parque del Buen Retiro in Madrid. Greenery, Peace, and Fun all in the middle of Madrid. On this Easter Sunday, I went to soak up some rays and watch the locals. And without further adieu, let me introduce you to the Men of Parque del Buen Retiro, Madrid!

I won’t lie – the Men are a little stiff and stoic for my liking but these are the men of men, With their capes and their swords, their Puffy pants and their giant necklaces. These are the men of stories. (Really; they are!)

But otherwise, the REAL men also make their way to Parque del Buen Retiro. They come and they remove their shirts. They work on their fitness, they work on their smartness, but 100% they work on being eye candy for all the ladies strolling through this park! (Aka – Me. The creeper taking their photo through the trees!)

 

 

If you go out in public and take off your shirt you are asking to have your photo taken. At least; according to my books you are.

The Park itself is gigantic and wonderful to take a stroll in. With kids running in the playgrounds, rollerbladers zig-zagging through pylons, and musicians on every corner. You can’t help but enjoy the Park.

And since the weather was so pleasant, I found myself a patch of green grass, rolled up my pants, put my head on my backpack and read on my Kindle while soaking up the sun. Men and Books; a day well spent.
