Wax Figurine Fascination

Wax Figurine Fascination

On a rainy day in London, this girl decided to catch up with all her favourite celebrity people at The Madam Tussaud’s Wax Museum.

This thought also came to every other tourist in London on this rainy day as well. After a 4 hour wait in line, in the rain, without an umbrella, I finally was allowed in. At least during the twisty line-up inside, they had music and questionnaires with prizes. This made me realize I’ve been out of the celebrity fact zone for too long. Need to brush up on useless facts before I re-enter a wax museum again!

So who did I met along with the Queen of England?

The hardest part about going to a wax museum alone? Having strangers take your picture with the wax figurines and wanting to do bigger and better poses but knowing the stranger might not accept my choice of poses. So I kept my groping of the figures to a minimum.

Jim Carrey - the was Canadian but gave up citizenship to be an America - but still Hilarious

I am utterly excited to return to another Wax Museum and have more fun touching figurine’s inappropriately.

Anybody else Experienced a wax museum?

  1. Hahaha! Ohmygod I geeked OUT when I went to Madame Tussaud’s. I must have been about fourteen or fifteen. I was like “ohmygoditsWhoopiGoldberg” and got super excited (Sister Act and Ghost are two of my favourite movies) before reminding myself that, of course, the figures are wax.

The entry price is a little steep for my liking, but I’d love to return again some day and see what new additions are hanging out there since my last trip…and maybe do some groping next time.

    • EXACTLY! You need a second look to guarantee you aren’t really meeting these people. Its AWESOME! Hopefully I’ll see the rest of the museums around the world when I visit those cities. But who knows when that will occur!
