Valentine’s Day: Things I Love But Probably Shouldn’t
The Gift of a Grass Heart given to me by my friend Ping of the Muong people, in Sapa, Vietnam
Valentine’s Day is a day of love. So I am dedicating this post to all things I love. but probably shouldn’t.
#1 – Animals that are bigger than me, that can eat me, or just want to spit on me. I lure them in with food and my excellent coaxing skills. Then I latch on and I’m never letting GO!
Me & Mr.Donkey in Southern Bolivia
Llama Feeding - Cafayate, Argentina
Elephant Kisses in Chiang Mai, Thailand
#2 – Playing Hide-and-Go-Seek in, on, near, or as close as the velvet railing will let me, to anything ancient, one-of-a-kind, precious, or crumbling. Sometime’s I get lost and potentially hurt myself but it is not my fault. I loved the game as I child and I love it today.
Giant's Causeway, Ireland
Ancient Thailand, Bangkok, Thailand
1000 torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto, Japan
3# – Sticking my Face where it doesn’t belong. No I am not referring to butting into other people’s lives, this is a literal statement; I stick myself into things. A lot.
face mask in Yogyakarta, Java, Indonesia
painted for Koh Phangan, Full Moon Party
#4 – Flinging myself off of things that are really high up but that I am firmly buckled into. I like to know that I am still young & dumb enough to do it.
ziplining in Santa Teresa, Peru
zip-lining, Tarzan roping, and shimmying my way through the treetops on Koh Chang, Thailand
#5 – Saying Goodbye to Canada. Whenever I say goodbye it means adventure’s and exotic places ensue. This is much preferred to the freezing winters of Canada – and I just don’t like wearing pants ok?

That zip line looks incredible. Of the pictures thus far, I think that makes me most jealous.
Also, elephant picture is downright amazing. You look like such a happy lady.
